Patch 1.0.4 · sources checked 26 Oct 2026
Moon Sweepers Wiki
Moon Sweepers is DragDrop Games' Windows co-op on Steam: you start with a toothbrush, sell lunar dust at a depot, and can play solo or with up to 16 people. This wiki tracks patch 1.0.4. It publishes official numbers when the patch notes give them, and it leaves every unmeasured price blank.

What you actually do
The Lunar Surface Department sends a crew to clear dust with a budget that covered one toothbrush. You collect lunar dust, deliver it to a depot, and launch a shipment. Earnings buy tools, carrying capacity, and later a cleaning vehicle. The map is large enough that the store tells you to track progress. A figure of about 50 square kilometers shows up in launch coverage and is not restated on the store page this wiki checked, so it is not treated as a measured area.
A project note citing SteamRaw recorded a peak of 36,318 concurrent players on 25 Oct 2026. This page did not re-query that counter. The number is a reason the fixes mattered that weekend, not a live population.
First five steps
- 1
Toothbrush
Sweep a load. The store starts you here, and nowhere else is priced.
- 2
First shipment
Depot, then the intake. Patch 1.0.3 pays the number on the screen.
- 3
One tool
A single shared matrix buy for the wait you just felt.
- 4
A vehicle
When the walk is the tax. Garages no longer delete the fleet on demolish.
- 5
Automation
Belt to the intake, 100 kg catcher, then J.O.O.N.A.S. in that hex.
The first-hour page has the keys the patch notes name, and only those keys.
Patch 1.0.4, the short version
Posted 25 Oct 2026. J.O.O.N.A.S. cleans with nobody nearby and fires capsules at the nearest catcher. Night vision goggles are $350. Saves keep five backups outside Steam Cloud. Windows defaults to DirectX 11 for AMD crashes. Saves from this build do not open in older ones.
The day before, 1.0.3 made the upgrade matrix shared: the crew uses the host's copy, and anyone's purchase covers everyone. Launch-week posts that tell each friend to buy their own tools are describing a rule the patch replaced.

Questions
- How much does Moon Sweepers cost?
- List price is $8.99. On 26 Oct 2026 the Steam page showed 15% off, $7.64. Check the store on the day you pay. The discount is not a promise this page can keep open.
- How many people can play?
- Solo, or an online co-op lobby of up to 16. The store page lists no cross-play and no dedicated server.
- Is the money shared?
- Launch-week reviews said the wallet was shared. Patch 1.0.3, which rewrote upgrades, does not restate that. It does say the crew shares the host's upgrade matrix. Watch both balances after one shipment.
- Can you play solo?
- Yes. Single-player is listed beside online co-op. J.O.O.N.A.S. also keeps cleaning with no player nearby, as of patch 1.0.4.
- Is there a PS5, Xbox, or Switch version?
- No console edition was listed on Steam when the store page was checked on 26 Oct 2026. The platform flag is Windows.
- Does it run on Steam Deck?
- Steam Deck is not a store platform badge. Patch 1.0.4 fixed startup issues with older Proton versions on Steam Deck and Linux. That note is not a Verified rating.
