Moon Sweepers depots

A depot is how a sweep becomes money. Patch 1.0.3 makes the deposit intake pay exactly the figure on its screen, and belt deliveries pay as they arrive. Put the depot beside the dust you are clearing. Launch-week players said a placed building cannot be moved, and no patch through 1.0.4 describes a refund, so place it as if it will stay.

Put the depot on the dust you are clearing. The notes through 1.0.4 do not describe a building refund.
  1. Stand on the dust you mean to clear for the next half hour. That is the depot site.
  2. Leave room for a belt to arrive in a straight snap. Splitters and mergers want port-to-port contact.
  3. Read the intake after the first belt load. It should match the screen, per 1.0.3.
  4. Add a catcher in the hex a robot will clean, not a long capsule flight back to the first shack, if you can help it. The robot aims at the nearest catcher.
  5. Use the teleport panel for stations you have already found, instead of driving the whole way between depots.

Foundations can sit beside ramps again as of 1.0.4, and machines can be snapped side by side. Those were placement bugs, not a movement tool. The map also shows section payments, including the Region Bounty, after that patch.

Questions

Can I refund a building I placed wrong?
No patch note from 1.0.3 or 1.0.4 describes a refund rate. Launch-week reviews said buildings cannot be moved once placed. Garages are a special case: demolishing one does not delete the vehicles. Assume a depot stays until your own demolish button shows a number.
